Our Mandate

The mission of the Shoreline Artists is to respect and accept all members' artwork; to educate and encourage originality among the members; and to present art, promote art appreciation and further the advancement of all art endeavours in Saugeen Shores and surrounding communities.

Art speaks in many different ways. The Shoreline Artists bring original art in its many forms to our communities for residents’ enjoyment and enrichment. Art is a wonderful common ground for bringing our community together.

Members meet on the last Wednesday of each month to share creative ideas, listen to guest speakers and review current and future business.

In the Community

Shoreline Artists gives bursaries to deserving high school graduates of Saugeen District Secondary School in Port Elgin. The recipient will attend college or university in the field of art. Since the inception of Shoreline Artists, we have promoted and supported art education.

To apply for a bursary please review our guidelines here.
